No Show
If at least one member of your participant is not connected to your assigned game server when your match is slotted to commence, you participant is marked a ‘No Show.’ As a ‘No Show’ you forfeit the match, the match is not played out, the game server that you were allocated is torn down, and your opponent is granted an automatic ‘Win.’
How do I avoid being marked a No Show?
There is a six-minute window between when the tournament starts and when your match starts. You simply must connect to your match server within this six-minute period by clicking on the message that says “YOU HAVE A MATCH HERE RIGHT NOW!” You must still be in the game server when the match begins, if you connect to the game server at the beginning of the six-minute window and then disconnect from the game server and are not present when the match begins you will get marked as a ‘No Show.’
If you are playing a multi-round tournament, the second round of the tournament commences as soon as every match from the first round is marked ‘finished.’ The commencement of the second round kicks off a new six-minute window where you must connect to a new match server for your second match. Again you must simply connect to the match server and be present when the match begins in order to avoid being marked a ‘No Show.’ Subsequent tournament rounds follow the same procedure as the second round.
Note: If every gamer that is designated to participate in a particular match arrives in the gamer server early, i.e. before the six-minute window has expired, the six-minute window is cut short and the match will commence 30 seconds after all gamers are present (this functionality reduces the time that you have to wait before playing).
